Hello,

My name is Dominique Brown and I am happy to say I am the president of PRSSA. I am in my final year here at Ithaca College studying Integrated Marketing Communications with minors in French and International Communications. Over the past three years I have been fully committed to PRSSA and a career in public relations. I have completed five internships and also studied abroad in Paris last fall. I owe a lot of my knowledge and professional development to this organization and I am excited to lead the next generation of PRSSA members on this journey towards professional success.

One thing you can expect from IC PRSSA this semester is a fresh new look! Starting with our brand new website, the executive board and I have created the central hub for everything you could possibly want and need to know about our organization. It is visually appealing and easy to navigate. This space right here, the blog, will be updated on a weekly basis with everything ranging from industry news, member spotlights and interview tips & tricks.

This semester we have a lot planned in order to bring the very best to our members and truly advance their careers. We will kickoff the semester with our annual recruitment night, where members will meet the executive board and receive a special gift. Members should look forward to professional development workshops, guest speakers, networking events, Swish for Make-A-Wish and for the first time ever IC PRSSA will be heading to the regional conference!
