amandaAmanda Lai, 
Co-President
Amanda is a senior Integrated Marketing Communications major and Legal Studies minor from Long Island, NY. Her hobbies include traveling, listening to music, eating pizza, and watching The Office. This past summer, she interned at MTV Los Angeles in their Publicity department and the NBC Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is very excited to finish up her last year at Ithaca College and enter the workforce in the entertainment industry.

andiAndrea Wollin, CoPresident
Andi is a senior Communication Management and Design major with an Art minor from Rhode Island. Last semester she studied in London through the Ithaca College London Center and loved it so much that she never wanted to leave. Last summer Andi had a marketing/PR internship at the International Tennis Hall of Fame where she grew her love for tennis and PR. In her free time, Andi explores the world of fashion, likes to take bad pictures of her friends, and eat lots of cheese.

Laura is a junior Integrated Marketing Communications major with minors in Psychology and Communication Management & Design from Syracuse, NY. This past summer, Laura interned at Eric Mower + Associates in the Public Relations department. Outside of PRSSA, she is an active member of IC Women in Communications and Students Today Alumni Tomorrow. In her spare time, Laura enjoys traveling, bullet journaling, watching New Girl, and cats.

Director of Digital Media
Rachel is a senior Communication Management and Design major with a concentration in Corporate Communication. She has previously worked with the Rochester Rhinos professional soccer team as a public relations intern, and most recently interned with the communications team at Constellation Brands Inc. in Victor, NY. In her free time, Rachel enjoys reading, watching Netflix, blogging and drinking endless amounts of coffee. After graduation, Rachel is interested in beginning her career at a creative PR agency where she could continue her work with digital media and either consumer or corporate public relations.

colbyColby Daboul, Director of Internal Communications
Colby Daboul is a Junior Communication Management and Design major, minoring in History. He is currently the Director of Internal Relations for IC PRSSA. He spent last summer in Los Angeles, California interning at Lafamos PR, Marketing and Social Media. Colby is very interested in politics and hopes to pursue a career in Government Relations.

 

devinDevin Caroll, Events Chair
Devin is a senior Integrated Marketing Communications major and Writing minor at Ithaca College. Outside of class and her position as Director of Events on the PRSSA E-board, Devin is an active member of Students Consulting for Nonprofit Organizations (SCNO) and an Office Assistant in the Writing Department. This past summer, Devin worked as a Marketing and PR Intern for Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC). In the past, she has also worked as a PR Intern for Pierce Communications, a boutique PR firm in Albany, NY, and as a Communications Intern at Emma Willard, an elite all-girls boarding school in upstate New York. Post graduation, Devin hopes to work in entertainment publicity.

Treasurer/Secretary
Jessica Caruso is a junior Integrated Marketing Communications major at Ithaca College. Since the fall of 2016, she has had a marketing and merchandising internship with League Collegiate Outfitters, a school apparel company that is sold in the bookstore here at Ithaca College. After graduation, she hopes to work at a public relations agency in New York City. As of now, she is interested in the consumer goods side of the field, but is still testing the waters.

Faculty Advisor: Arhlene Flowers

Arhlene Flowers, associate professor in Integrated Marketing Communications, has extensive public relations experience on both the agency and corporate sides. Prior to joining Ithaca College in 2006, she held management positions at leading New York City public relations agencies, including Ruder Finn and Hill and Knowlton. She has represented clients on six continents, including a wide range of governments, nonprofits, and public and private companies. She also served as corporate public relations director worldwide at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, based in its Toronto headquarters. She holds a B.A. from New York University and an M.P.S. from the New School. Her research has been published in academic journals and presented at academic conferences. Her book, Global Writing for Public Relations, was published by Routledge in 2016.
