The Ithaca College chapter of PRSSA gives students the opportunity to forge partnerships and build relationships. As an organization we offer members access to internship, scholarship, leadership and networking opportunities via peers and professionals. Joining PRSSA can truly be the start of your career.
From the very beginning we teach our members the essentials of public relations through career workshops and seminars with professionals. Each semester we provide members with hands-on public relation experience with a networking event in the fall and our annual Swish for Make-A-Wish event in the spring. Members plan the event from start to finish and are split up into teams to find value in each part of the public relations sector. Joining PRSSA is truly a sneak peek into the public relations world.
